The Roads Below was formed by Arkansas native singer/songwriter Phil Evans, and Los Angeles based guitarist Max Martilik. Shortly after meeting in the Spring of 2015, the two moved to Nashville where they linked up with local musicians to complete their lineup and establish their roots.
Mixing hard-hitting melodies with a twist of homegrown country edge, the band bring a fresh and dynamic sound to the current country scene.
“I Want Us,” the band’s debut self-released single, organically garnered attention, amassing over 5 million streams without any mainstream press or radio.
That was followed up by a series of self-released singles and sold out Nashville shows before linking up with War Road Music, where they are now preparing to release their debut LP.
