Cody Johnson, who “just might be the future of real country music,” continues to live up to those expectations as his reputation and popularity grow among fans, the media, and the music industry. Since the release of his highly praised sixth album, Banks Of The Trinity, this summer, his career accolades continue to surge.
In 2025, Cody sold an impressive 400,000 concert tickets and landed on Billboard’s Top 100 Tours list. Last year’s tour took him to exciting places like Australia, New Zealand, and Europe, and across the U.S., including two back-to-back sold-out shows at Nashville’s Bridgestone
Arena. The Tennessean called Johnson ‘the evening’s biggest superstar’ and praised his voice, saying, ‘As a crooner, Johnson may have one of the underrated best vocal styles in music overall. When he grounds his feet and sets his mind to it, he unleashes a stunning instrument that leaves his crowd in awe.’
His industry honors include being named ACM Entertainer of the Year and Male Artist of the Year at the 2026 ACM Awards, bringing his ACM total to four wins. Cody has been named CMT Artist of the Year, has won four CMA Awards (including the coveted Album of the Year Award for Leather in 2024), has won three CMT Music Awards, and has been named “Best New Country Artist” at the iHeart Music Awards.
His television appearances have entertained fans on the Today Show, the Kelly Clarkson Show, and the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and he has delivered standout live TV performances at the iHeart Music Awards, the ACM Awards, the CMA Awards, the CMT Music Awards, CMT Giants honoring Vince Gill, and the CMT Artist of the Year Special. Last summer, Cody co-hosted the three-hour “CMA Fest Presented by Sofi” with Ashley McBryde.
