Mikele Buck was Born in the Hills of West Virginia, his family was steeped in the traditional music of the Appalachians. Playing drums in rock bands for most of his high school days, after graduating Mikele bought his first guitar and started writing songs and playing local Taverns and Bars and Bonfire parties, testing his own songs out on friends and family. His songs are a blend of all his musical influences, like Steve Earle, Garth Brooks, Travis Tritt and Red Dirt Artist like Randy Rodgers Band and Reckless Kelly. After returning from the Iraq war in 2005 Mikele went to Nashville and recorded his first CD and put his first Band together near Greenville NC. The Bands popularity grew and grew, soon they were opening up for Big acts such as Jason Aldean and Joe Nichols at all the NC night clubs and fairs, and soon drawing record crowds of their own. His Latest iTunes release has been pouring through car speakers all over the east coast, with crowd favorite ‘Sweet Carolina at the helm.
In the past 2 years Mikele Buck Band has opened up for numerous National Acts such as Jon Pardi, Brett Eldredge, Jason Micheal Carol, David Nail and also had the privilege of opening up this years Carolina Country Music Festival in Myrtle Beach in front of acts like Hunter Hayes and Lady Antebellum.
