Warrick McZeke is a South Carolina BORN country artist whose journey into music began with a moment he never planned, but will never forget. Raised in the small town of Loris, SC, Warrick followed a traditional path early on, earning degrees from Clemson University and North Carolina Central University and beginning a career as a Speech Pathologist.
In 2017, everything changed at the Carolina Country Music Fest. With the help of his college roommate, country hitmaker Lee Brice, Warrick proposed to his now wife Josie on stage in front of thousands of fans. That once-in-a-lifetime moment did not just change his personal life; it sparked something deeper.
Shortly after, Warrick took a leap of faith by entering NashNext, a nationwide radio competition hosted by the former Nash FM network searching for “Nashville’s Next Country Music Star.” Warrick engagement inspired his first country song, “Miss Absolutely,” opening the door to a calling he only dreamed about as a youngster. What began as a bold submission quickly turned into momentum, affirming that his voice and story belonged in country music.
Following the release, Warrick would go on to release his debut EP, C’Mon, showcasing both his high energy side and his heart for storytelling. The project ranges from the party driven title track to “Car Man,” a tribute to his auto mechanic father, and “Thank You,” a song rooted in gratitude for the family, friends, and fans who continue to support his journey.
Now gearing up for 2026, Warrick McZeke is loading new music to compliment “Show Me The Girl” and “Small Town,” continuing to blend faith, small town roots, and real life moments into songs that connect. With a mission to create uplifting experiences and authentic country music, Warrick is carving out his own lane, one song at a time.
