Country music’s dynamic duo Florida Georgia Line, joins the Carolina Country Music Fest roster
CHARLOTTE, NC (November 17, 2015) – Carolina Country Music Fest (CCMF), in conjunction with Full House Productions (FHP) and Visit Myrtle Beach, reveal Florida Georgia Line (FGL) has been added to the impressive lineup of performers to take the stage during the second annual oceanfront fest, June 10-12, 2016.
Known for their no holds barred approach to music, FGL’s recent album, Gold certified, “Anything Goes”, has produced three consecutive No.1 hits including Gold certified single “Sippin’ On Fire”, Platinum certified single “Sun Daze” and two-time Platinum certified single “Dirt”. The sophomore album’s most recent released title track, “Anything Goes”, has also reached Gold certification. FGL has had eight No.1 singles, including “Cruise” – the best-selling country single ever – and is the only duo in history to join Brooks & Dunn, achieving four back-to-back, multi-week No.1 singles.
CCMF’s announcement comes only weeks after FGL earned the Country Music Association (CMA) Award for Vocal Duo of the Year, marking the third consecutive year the twosome has taken home the title. With a unique blend of genres ranging from old-school country to rap, FGL’s “bro-country” approach to music has also earned them top honors including four Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards, four CMT Music Awards and two Billboard Music Awards.
The Southeast’s premier, three-day country music extravaganza will also host Jake Owen, A Thousand Horses and Michael Ray, with additional artist announcements to come.
