- Megan Moroney found her interest in music from her brother and father, who played in a
band together. - Megan Moroney was first discovered when she sang at an all-you-can-eat Waffle House
benefit dinner that her sorority set up. Coincidently Chase Rice attended the benefit and
asked her to open for him at his concert. This led to her first time performing in front of a
large audience. - She was born on August 23, 1995 in Savannah, Georgia.
- Megan was a professional swimmer.
- Aside from being a famous singer/songwriter, she has also used her skills towards acting
where she played a role in the TV series, The Rising Star. - One of Megan Moroney’s major music awards was Female Breakthrough of the Year by
CMT for her song, “Tennessee Orange”. - She was a member of the Kappa Delta sorority in college.
- In Moroney’s free time, she enjoys hiking and reading.
