Howdy, y’all!
As y’all know, we love many things at CCMF, but two things that are near the top of the list are our brave military and love stories! This story has both! Stephen DiPaola is an E3 Fireman serving in the United States Coast Guard. He met the love of his life, Savannah Newsome in a bar near his first duty station in Oak Island, North Carolina just over a year ago. After a few months, it was clear they were destined to spend the rest of their lives together. Their love has carried them over 13,360 miles in commuting to see one another. Stephen is currently deployed to Patrol Forces in Southwest Asia, Bahrain. Knowing Savannah wishes nothing more than to spend the rest of their lives together, Stephen proposed in a really big way! He got down on one knee with the witness of 30,000 people and asked for her hand in marriage on stage! Of course, she said yes! We would like to give a shoutout to our amazing host, Big Sexy, for helping plan this while Stephen was overseas!
We would also like to say thank you to Stephen for his brave service and congratulations to him and Savannah on their engagement!
