The Carolina Country Music Fest (CCMF), the East Coast’s largest outdoor country music festival, is proud to announce its support of Stand Up To Cancer® (SU2C), a non-profit organization that funds groundbreaking cancer research to bring new therapies and treatments to patients quickly and save lives now. Attendees of the event will have an opportunity to donate and learn more about Stand Up To Cancer’s groundbreaking research and how they can support the cause.
The collaboration between CCMF and SU2C will bring together two powerful forces in the fight against cancer. CCMF has become a beloved event for country music fans from all over America, while SU2C has galvanized the entertainment industry to educate the public on cancer prevention, and help more people diagnosed with cancer become long-term survivors.
“We are thrilled to partner with Stand Up To Cancer to support their mission to accelerate cancer research and save lives,” said Bob Durkin of the Carolina Country Music Fest. “We believe that music has the power to bring people together and make a positive impact, and we are excited to use our platform to support this important cause.”
“Stand Up To Cancer is incredibly grateful to be an official charity of the Carolina Country Music Festival this summer” said Sue Schwartz, co-founder of Stand Up To Cancer. “For 15 years, SU2C has been relentless in our mission to get new therapies to cancer patients quickly and save lives. On behalf of our researchers, patients and their caregivers, I thank everyone who attends the festival and supports our work; we couldn’t be more excited to share in this exciting experience in beautiful Myrtle Beach, SC!”
