News for Immediate Release:

Tidelands Health to again serve as official health care system for Carolina Country Music Fest in Myrtle Beach

When tens of thousands of people descend on Myrtle Beach for the Carolina Country Music Fest in June, they’ll benefit from the expertise of the region’s largest health care provider.

For the second year, Tidelands Health is serving as the official health care system of the festival, one of the largest events in the Myrtle Beach area each year. The health system will serve as the go-to source for concert-related health and wellness information before and during the event.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Carolina Country Music Fest once again to help keep festival goers in tune with their health so they can make the most of this highly anticipated event,” said Bruce Bailey, president and CEO of Tidelands Health.

Scheduled for June 4-7, CCMF is expected to attract at least 30,000 people to watch more than 30 artists, including headliners Luke Combs, Eric Church, Darius Rucker and Jake Owen.

As festival goers enjoy themselves, Tidelands Health will help them take care of themselves, too. In advance of CCMF, attendees will be able to find useful health and wellness information via social media channels, through email blasts from event organizers and on MyCarolinaLife.com, a leading source within the region for health information.

The tips will continue during the event on the jumbo screens at the festival, which takes place at Burroughs and Chapin Pavilion Place in downtown Myrtle Beach. Tidelands Health representatives will also be on site throughout the event to distribute health and wellness information.

“It’s important to remember that health and wellness needs don’t stop when the music starts,” said Ashley Capps, associate vice president of nursing operations for Tidelands Health. “Whether it’s protecting yourself from the sun or staying properly hydrated, it’s important to take care of yourself so you can get the most out of this fun festival.”

Tidelands Health is returning as the official health care system of CCMF for the second year.

“The addition of Tidelands Health as a CCMF partner last year was a hit with our attendees,” said Mike Stephens with Carolina Country Music Fest. “The valuable health and wellness tips Tidelands Health provides will help festival goers gear up for CCMF and stay healthy throughout the four-day festival.”
